National Memorial Campaign
Simultaneously, the families launched a nationwide memorial campaign titled "Israel Never Forgets," designed to bring the images, sounds, and stories of the black Saturday back to public screens. Organizers have also issued an urgent call for public donations to fully finance the large-scale gathering.
"We must never forget and never let the memory fade. I call on all citizens of Israel to support the crowdfunding campaign so we can open the park and make this the largest memorial event in the nation's history," said Yonatan Shamriz, founder of Kumu and brother of the late Alon Shamriz.

Organized for the third consecutive year, the national ceremony remains the primary commemorative event marking the tragedy on both national and international levels. Broadcast across major television networks and streaming platforms worldwide, the event serves both as a unifying national gathering and an important international advocacy platform.
