Negev Clan Clashes: Police Seize M-16 Rifle and Arrest Local Resident
Police in Ar'ara in the Negev seized an M-16 rifle and arrested a local resident following a violent clan clash and intelligence-led searches in the town.

A violent clan clash erupted in Ar'ara in the Negev, involving the transfer of an M-16 rifle between houses before the shooting. Police raided the suspect's compound, seizing the weapon, ammunition, and a local woman was arrested.
Following intelligence guidance, police officers from the Ar'ara station searched residential compounds in the town. During the operation, they uncovered an M-16 rifle suspected of being used in the feud, alongside fully loaded magazines, additional ammunition, and a box of 9mm rounds.
Ar'ara police station commander, Superintendent Baruch Honig, stated that the swift and targeted operation successfully intercepted the illegal weapon. Police emphasized their continued determination to combat criminal elements and prevent further shooting incidents in the region.
