Automotive giant Colmobil announces a strategic move, launching a dedicated service that offers businesses a flexible solution for work vehicle rentals without long-term commitments.

Shmuel Harlap, who controlled the car importer Colmobil, turned it into a dominant player in the local market with the Mitsubishi and Hyundai brands, as well as Chery and Omoda. He was among the early investors in Mobileye and made a successful exit upon its sale. At the same time, he was involved in extensive philanthropic activity.

Dr. Shmuel Harlap, who passed away this morning at the age of 82, stood for decades at the head of Colmobil, the largest automotive group in Israel. Alongside his business activities, he and his wife Anat managed extensive philanthropic work that included donations of hundreds of millions of shekels.

The owner of the Yohananoff chain has signed a deal with Colmobil to build a 5,500 sqm store in the Nesher area. The total investment in the complex will amount to 100 million shekels.

The car importer Colmobil is launching a special sales event to mark 120 years of operation, during which unique financing plans, gifts of choice for every buyer, and significant benefits on a variety of leading brands in the Israeli market will be offered.
