GoTo, a company specializing in the development and operation of mobility services under a car-as-a-service model, has reached a significant business milestone. The Israeli firm has signed an agreement with automotive importer Colmobil to supply a SaaS technological platform for daily and monthly commercial vehicle rentals for businesses.
According to the agreement, this marks GoTo's first SaaS deal in Israel, aligning with the company's strategy to focus its operations on the local market after previously providing similar solutions in Europe.
Under the partnership terms, Colmobil will manage the ongoing daily operations of the rental service. Meanwhile, GoTo will provide the core software and develop customized technological solutions tailored to Colmobil's operational needs. The financial model includes initial setup fees, customized development costs, and a recurring monthly fee for platform usage.
This new agreement for business vehicle rentals represents an expansion of the existing cooperation between the two companies. It follows a previous joint venture named Colmobil Go, which offers monthly subscription car services starting from one month, including insurance and maintenance with no down payment or deposit required.
