Carasso Motors is expanding its footprint in northern Israel, acquiring a 30-dunam plot on Bar Yehuda Road in Nesher for approximately 100 million shekels. The company plans to construct a massive 15,000-square-meter regional sales and service hub for its freesbe brand, consolidating automotive operations in the north.

The plot comes with expansive building rights totaling roughly 190,000 square meters designated for commerce and employment. While the initial hub will occupy a fraction of this space, the remaining rights present significant real estate development potential that Carasso Motors intends to evaluate for future phases.

Comprehensive Regional Hub

The upcoming complex will offer northern customers an end-to-end automotive experience under one roof. The facility will house a sprawling showroom, a service center, and administrative offices, centralizing all freesbe services including new and pre-owned car sales, trade-ins, leasing, rentals, financing, insurance, and maintenance. Construction work is slated to commence in 2028, with the grand opening targeted for 2030.

The freesbe brand itself was launched in January 2023 as part of Carasso Motors' comprehensive rebranding strategy, backed by tens of millions of shekels in investment. The initiative unified 14 automotive brands and 42 models alongside auxiliary financial and fleet services.

Nesher Emerges as Automotive Capital

The choice of Nesher highlights a broader industry trend, transforming the eastern gateway of Haifa into Israel's primary automotive hub. Major competitors are making parallel moves in the area.

"In recent years, the Bar Yehuda business district has evolved into a central focal point for the Israeli automotive industry, attracting a growing concentration of leading vehicle brands," representatives of Carasso Motors noted.

Colmobil is currently finalizing a major multi-phase commercial and office complex in Nesher. Backed by a 100 million shekel investment for its first phase, Colmobil is consolidating its northern showrooms for brands such as Hyundai and Mitsubishi. Meanwhile, the Meir Group has recently completed a new 450-square-meter flagship showroom for Lynk & Co on Bar Yehuda Road, further cementing the area's status as the epicenter of northern automotive retail.
