A senior Iranian official clarified today, Wednesday, ahead of the expiration of the 60-day ceasefire set in the memorandum of understanding, that no discussions are being held with the United States regarding its extension. The official, speaking to Reuters, placed the responsibility for the deadlock on Washington, claiming that the US violated previous agreements.

The IDF reports daily ceasefire violations by Hamas. A Peace Council mechanism began monitoring the situation on Friday. "We seek to give a chance to the demilitarization process, not provide immunity for terrorist activity," Council sources stated.

The IDF continues search operations and infrastructure destruction, but the return of civilians to villages creates risks and limits operational methods. The process relies heavily on the direct involvement and pressure from US President Donald Trump on Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

Against the backdrop of the roadmap for disarming Hamas, former senior Fatah official Mohammed Dahlan claimed that Jared Kushner reached an agreement with Israel to stop strikes in Gaza starting Sunday morning. "We are continuing contacts with the Americans to ensure the implementation of the agreement," he said.

The terrorist organization claimed that the escalation in the Gaza Strip continued even after the announcement of the transition formula. According to them, the agreement is incapable of "restraining Israel" and the mediators are required to compel it to implement the first phase in full.
