41-year-old Katya Grossa entered a home sauna in Australia, unaware the space had filled with gas. When she attempted to relight the stove, a massive explosion occurred, leaving her engulfed in flames. Despite severe burns, she managed to crawl to safety.

An infant about one year old was brought to meet with MADA teams on Highway 9 near the Baqa-Jatt interchange after being scalded by a hot drink on his upper body. Medical teams provided initial treatment in the field and evacuated him in an intensive care ambulance to Rambam Hospital in Haifa, suffering from second-degree burns.

Following reports from Israel and abroad about burns in children and strong odors, the Ministry of Economy recommends exercising caution when using "squishy" products. At the same time, tests have been expanded to determine the source of the incidents, although no deviations were found in standard tests at this stage.

Recent heatwaves in Israel have turned playgrounds into hazards for toddlers. Doctors warn that scorching surfaces can cause severe burns, urging parents to be vigilant and check temperatures before letting children crawl.
