At 16:44, a report was received at the MADA 101 emergency center in the Sharon region regarding the infant, who was brought to meet with medical teams on Highway 9 near the Baqa-Jatt interchange. MADA medics and paramedics provided life-saving medical treatment in the field and evacuated him in an intensive care ambulance to the hospital, where he was diagnosed with second-degree burns on his upper body.
MADA emergency medical technician Moshe Brenner described the scene, noting that they treated an infant about one year old suffering from severe burns on his upper body, apparently caused by boiling coffee. He added that they provided initial medical care, including the administration of medication, and transported the child in a MADA intensive care ambulance to the hospital, where his condition was defined as serious.
