Tira: Two Arrested After Fleeing Police on Motorcycle with Glock Pistol

Two young men in their 20s, residents of Tira, were arrested on suspicion of involvement in a shooting incident in the city after being caught riding a Sur-Ron motorcycle wearing masks.

One of the suspects attempted to flee from police, and during a foot pursuit, discarded a Glock pistol, which was subsequently recovered by security forces. Following their interrogation, a prosecutor's statement was filed against the two, and an indictment is expected to be filed in the coming days.

The incident took place about two weeks ago during proactive operations by detectives from the Tira police station in the Central District, in cooperation with volunteers from the Sharon mounted enforcement unit.
