Hollywood star Sydney Sweeney has recently signed with the prominent talent agency CAA, following months of industry speculation. Reports indicate that the move came after a tense encounter between Sweeney and Ari Emanuel, the head of rival agency WME Group. According to sources cited by Page Six, Emanuel allegedly advised Sweeney to part ways with her partner, music manager Scooter Braun, during a meeting in January.

The Fallout and Agency Switch

While Emanuel's representatives have firmly denied the meeting ever took place or that such advice was given, the incident reportedly caused friction. Braun had originally encouraged Sweeney to meet with Emanuel. Despite the drama, talent agent Kevin Huvane successfully secured Sweeney for CAA.

"If you want to be taken seriously as an actress and a businesswoman, you need to make certain changes," sources quoted Emanuel as telling the star.

Controversy Over Novig Campaign

Beyond her agency shifts, Sweeney has recently dominated headlines due to a provocative advertising campaign for the sports prediction platform Novig, in which she serves as a strategic partner and shareholder. The commercial features Sweeney nude, utilizing sports gear to cover her body, with a background sampling of the Israeli national anthem.

  • Campaign criticized by female athletes for objectification.

  • Sweeney defended herself by highlighting past nude photos of female athletes.

  • Rumors swirl that Sweeney and Braun may have quietly gotten engaged.
