Shmuel Warshavsky to Receive Lifetime Achievement Award
Veteran advertising figure Shmuel Warshavsky, a founding partner of the Adler Chomsky & Warshavsky advertising group, will receive a lifetime achievement award at the Israel Brand Award competition by Brand Academy, led by Yariv Amit. The event, in its third year, will take place on November 19 at Cinema City Glilot.
The award will be presented to the 91-year-old Warshavsky for his six-decade career as an "architect of brands and a compass for business." He was praised as an "eyewitness, creator, and cultural revolutionary, a marketing pioneer who began writing a value-driven vision for companies in the economy and embedding values in branding processes."
Around 210 entries across 14 categories, such as food, beverages, real estate, retail, and capital markets, were submitted. The finalists were selected by a panel of 26 judges from various disciplines, including academia, marketing, design, and advertising.
Business Sector Joins the Red Line Anti-Bullying Campaign
Following the President's Residence launch of the "Red Line" campaign against boycotts and bullying among children and youth, a series of commercial entities have joined, including BIG shopping centers, McDonald's, Aroma, Wolt, yes, Pelephone, Cibus, and Cinema City. The business sector mobilization is led by tech firm AppsFlyer.
The initiative comes amid data showing that one in three children and teenagers in Israel reports experiencing boycotts or social rejection, with a third exposed to violence or bullying. Meanwhile, a rise was recorded in cases handled by the National Center for Cyberbullying Protection.

"The Israel Brand Award was born out of the desire to provide a professional, respected, and significant platform for Israeli branding work—a field combining strategy, creativity, design, and true value creation," said Yariv Amit.
Additionally, the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange requested a retention grant of 3.5 million shekels for CEO Itai Ben Zeev, provided he completes five years in office from the moment of receipt.
