British rock legend Rod Stewart has announced his retirement from touring after a 60-year career, citing recent health challenges including a heart procedure.

Penny Lancaster revealed that British singer Rod Stewart underwent a heart stent procedure following a summer health scare. Despite past battles with prostate cancer, the 81-year-old is already eager to return to the stage.

"Due to an unexpected but minor medical procedure that required immediate attention, Rod Stewart's concert tonight in Cincinnati has been postponed," the concert organizers announced to the disappointed fans. This is the third time in recent months that one of his shows has been canceled, and at another show, he was forced to use an oxygen tank on stage.

The veteran singer cancelled a performance at the last minute due to a mechanical issue with his plane, with the rescheduled date set for 2027. This marks the fourth cancellation on Stewart’s current tour, which is billed as his final world tour.
