The Supreme Court ruled that the decision regarding the Elector application must be made by the full Central Elections Committee rather than its chairman alone. The committee is set to discuss the matter on Sunday.

After Judge Solberg's response to Likud's request to reconsider his decision banning the 'Elector' application did not satisfy the party, attorney Ilan Bombach will file a petition with the Supreme Court tomorrow, as reported this evening (Wednesday).

Following the Central Elections Committee chairman's ban on apps that record voting data, the coalition is attempting to pass legislation to authorize their use. The opposition has yet to respond, while Likud's legal counsel has requested a reconsideration of the ruling.
