Amcha Yisrael Candidate Yosef Haddad Faces Death Threats and Billboard Vandalism
Yosef Haddad, the number two candidate for the Amcha Yisrael party, has received severe death threats and had a campaign billboard near Shefa-Amr vandalized after joining the Zionist list. Party leader Ofer Winter condemned the dangerous incitement.

Yosef Haddad, the number two candidate on the electoral list of the "Amcha Yisrael" party, is facing a severe wave of death threats following the launch of the party's campaign in the Arab sector. The threats target his decision to join a Zionist political party. Concurrently, a prominent campaign billboard near Shefa-Amr was vandalized, with the words "Haddad is a traitor" spray-painted over it.
According to "Amcha Yisrael" officials, there has been a dangerous escalation in incitement and direct threats against Haddad. In recent days, he has received explicit death threats on his social media accounts. One Israeli Arab user wrote to him: "Your day will come, and we will see who gets murdered."
The personal threats coincided with physical vandalism. A major campaign billboard located near Shefa-Amr, featuring the images of Yosef Haddad alongside party leader Brigadier General (Res.) Ofer Winter, was defaced with the Hebrew word for "traitor" spray-painted across Haddad's face.
Yosef Haddad stated:
"The extremists in Arab society are afraid of the message that the 'Amcha Yisrael' party brings, and rightly so. They do not want a party that cares about Nazareth, Shefa-Amr, and Rahat; they want Ramallah, Jenin, and Gaza again. Who am I betraying? My country? My society? If they think their threats and incitement will deter or stop me, they are dead wrong. We will continue with all our strength and win two mandates from Arab society, despite the extremists."
Party chairman Brigadier General (Res.) Ofer Winter added:
"The incitement against Yosef is dangerous. The use of the word 'traitor' and the death threats on social media raise the level of danger to new heights. 'Amcha Yisrael' and I will stand by Yosef in the complex mission he has taken upon himself to advocate for Israel globally, and we will not allow anyone to harm him or threaten his life."
