The IDF announced the launch of its largest military exercise in recent years, simulating multi-front combat scenarios involving four divisions, the Israeli Air Force, and General Staff units.
The exercise begins on Sunday and runs through Monday across the northern and central regions, involving the 210th Division, the Judea and Samaria Division, the 98th Division, and the 96th Division. The drills test readiness for sudden attacks and infiltrations by air and land from multiple fronts, including Syria, the eastern border, and Judea and Samaria.
The military emphasized that the exercise incorporates operational lessons learned from ongoing combat and is part of the planned 2026 training schedule. The IDF noted that heightened security forces and aircraft movement will be noticeable during the drills, but stressed there is no security threat.
