Four days after collapsing at Bayern Munich training complex and being rushed to the hospital, encouraging news has emerged regarding Vincent Kompany's health condition. Assistant coach Aaron Danks, who visited the 40-year-old Belgian on Monday, reported during a press conference ahead of the German Cup match against Magdeburg that his condition is gradually improving, though a return date remains uncertain.

"He is in good spirits. He seems to be improving day by day, which is definitely encouraging," Danks stated. "The goal is to allow him to rest and recover in a calm environment. He should take all the time he needs. Nothing has changed in that regard." Danks added that during their hospital visit, they chatted briefly without focusing on football or tactics, noting that Kompany asked how things were progressing with the squad.

Meanwhile, German media reported that Kompany called Harry Kane from the hospital ahead of the Ballon d'Or ceremony where the English striker was named the world's best player. Kane shared details of the gesture in an interview, saying: "What a person! He called me. Clearly, he is feeling better. I hope this gives him plenty of energy. Boss, thank you very much!"

Kompany, who suffered from a viral illness in recent weeks, collapsed last Friday and was transported to the hospital by ambulance. Doctors have yet to reach a definitive diagnosis regarding the cause of the collapse, and Bayern management stressed that no timeline will be rushed for his return to the sidelines.
