Euroleague Basketball has announced that Abu Dhabi will host the Final Four tournaments in 2027 and 2029, strengthening its footprint in the Middle East following the success of the 2025 event.

Euroleague Basketball has announced that Abu Dhabi will host the prestigious Final Four tournaments in 2027 and 2029, further expanding its strategic presence in the Middle East. While Israeli clubs Maccabi Tel Aviv and Hapoel continue to play their home matches abroad due to security constraints, the capital of the United Arab Emirates has secured the marquee events following a successful inaugural hosting in May 2025.
The 2027 Final Four will take place at the 12,000-seat Etihad Arena on Yas Island. The semifinal matchups are scheduled for Friday, May 28, with the championship game and the Euroleague Youth Tournament final set for Sunday, May 30.
Euroleague President Dejan Bodiroga welcomed the agreement, stating: "It is a great pleasure to announce that the Final Four is returning to Abu Dhabi. Together we delivered one of the best Final Four events in our 26-year history, showcasing the immense global appeal of the Euroleague."
CEO Paulius Motiejunas and executive leadership emphasized the strategic value of partnering with the Department of Culture and Tourism of Abu Dhabi, facilitated by IMG. The partnership positions the "Experience Abu Dhabi" brand as a core global sponsor across broadcasts, arenas, and team jerseys, building on the commercial success of the 2025 tournament where Fenerbahce lifted the trophy in front of a sold-out crowd.
