"Trio of losers": Trump in a sharp attack against Tucker Carlson and senior members of his former party
The US President lashed out sharply at the conservative media figure and Congress members Marjorie Taylor Greene and Thomas Massie. Among the accusations: "low IQ", cognitive tests, and abandoning the conservative camp due to unanswered calls.
In a sharp post on his social network, US President Donald Trump launched a direct attack against conservative media figure Tucker Carlson and two of his former political allies – Congress members Marjorie Taylor Greene and Thomas Massie. Trump called the three a "trio of losers" following a meeting held between them, and leveled a series of personal accusations against them.
Tucker must take a cognitive test
Trump directed most of the fire toward the former popular television host known for his anti-Israel positions, and at times also for antisemitic statements, Tucker Carlson. Trump claimed that Carlson's viewership numbers had crashed to the floor and that he had become completely irrelevant. In addition, he called him a person with a very low IQ and claimed that he barely managed to finish college.
Referring to the possibility that Carlson might run for a political position in the future, Trump wrote that he should be required to take a cognitive test:
"He has no chance, but he will probably take a few points from the Republican candidate. Tucker is a loser and always has been."
Personal attacks on Greene and Massie
Trump did not spare criticism for Congress member Marjorie Taylor Greene either, formerly one of his most prominent supporters, whom he called a traitor and even mocked her last name. According to him, she is a neurotic woman who turned from a radical conservative into a liberal fool within a few weeks – and this only because he did not return her phone calls due to a lack of time. Trump added that her standing in the polls in the state of Georgia plummeted after he withdrew his support from her, and claimed that this was the reason that led to her resignation.
Regarding Congress member Thomas Massie, Trump claimed that he is a failed politician who used to vote "no" automatically on every bill, regardless of its content or quality.
In conclusion, Trump claimed that the only chance for the three is to join the radical left-wing Democrats, and signed the post with an unusual phrasing: "To all of them I say – Praise Allah! President Donald J. Trump."
