A man in his 30s from Tel Aviv was charged on Monday following his arrest near midnight in a central city parking lot, facing allegations of breaking into two vehicles and stealing property. According to the police, the suspect was caught red-handed late Friday night near a car in a central Tel Aviv parking lot, where he allegedly stole a mobile phone and sunglasses before being detained by officers from the Lev Tel Aviv station.

Subsequent police investigations linked the suspect to another vehicle break-in that occurred in the city on October 6. Prosecutors stated that during the earlier incident, the defendant broke into a car and stole two credit cards, cash, and personal documents from the interior.

According to the indictment, the accused subsequently used the stolen credit cards to conduct four separate transactions at a local business in Tel Aviv, totaling approximately 1,045 shekels. The Tel Aviv District Police prosecution unit filed formal charges featuring two counts of breaking into a vehicle with intent to steal, two counts of theft from a vehicle, and four counts of fraudulent use of a payment method. Authorities have requested that he remain in custody until the conclusion of legal proceedings.
