Three West Bank residents and a Colombian citizen were detained after being illegally employed at a bakery on HaShlosha Street in Tel Aviv. The inspection was carried out by the Enforcement and Foreigners Administration teams of the Population and Immigration Authority.

During the audit, authorities discovered that the bakery had hired the three West Bank residents without the required permits. They were transferred to the Tel Aviv South police station of the Israel Police for further investigation and questioning.

In addition, a Colombian national was found working at the establishment unlawfully. He was handed over to the immigration unit to evaluate deportation proceedings from the country.

This marks the second time the business has been caught employing undocumented workers. The Population and Immigration Authority emphasized that employing foreign nationals and unauthorized workers is a criminal offense, warning that enforcement efforts will continue against employers who violate legal guidelines.
