Autumn Heatwave Brings Temperatures Above 30C to Parts of Israel
An autumn heatwave has pushed temperatures above 30 degrees Celsius in parts of Israel, though a significant cooling trend and upcoming weekend rains are approaching.

Autumn heat has swept across parts of Israel, pushing temperatures above 30 degrees Celsius following a three-week cool spell, according to the Israel Meteorological Service.
While mornings began relatively cool with temperatures dropping to 12 to 15 degrees Celsius in the coastal plain, lowlands, and northern Negev due to dry air, southerly and southeasterly winds drove daytime highs up to 31 to 35 degrees Celsius in those regions. Mountainous areas and northern zones experienced milder conditions, remaining under 30 degrees Celsius.
Meteorologists note that this autumn heatwave is milder and shorter than the prolonged warm spell recorded at the beginning of November last year. A notable shift is approaching, with temperatures expected to drop significantly and humidity to rise, returning to seasonal averages.
Unsettled weather will peak by the end of the week, bringing an upper trough, westerly winds, and rain. Precipitation is forecasted to begin late Thursday night, intensifying on Friday morning with heavy downpours sweeping across the southern coast, the lowlands, and the northern coast, continuing into Saturday.
