The Shin Bet and the Israel Police arrested 19-year-old Mustafa Issa from Kafr Qasim on suspicion of planning a terror attack. According to the investigation, the young man searched for combat guides on his mobile phone, downloaded instructions for manufacturing explosive devices, and attempted to build explosives himself using various materials.

Issa was arrested in recent weeks during a joint operation by the Shin Bet and the Central Unit of the Central District. Authorities stated that the interrogation revealed he was heavily influenced by the events of Operation Guardian of the Walls and the October 7 massacre committed by Hamas, and was in the advanced stages of planning an attack.

During his arrest, extensive training equipment and an airsoft weapon were seized. At the end of his interrogation, a prosecutor's statement was submitted to the Central District Court ahead of an indictment. Officials emphasized that they view any involvement of Israeli citizens in activities endangering state security with utmost gravity.
