A woman in her 40s was found dead with stab wounds in her apartment in Qiryat Haim on Thursday evening. Medics and paramedics from MDA (Magen David Adom) attempted resuscitation efforts, but were ultimately forced to pronounce her dead at the scene. Police forces swiftly arrived at the location and arrested the victim's partner on suspicion of involvement in the violent incident.
"This is a shocking incident," said MDA paramedic Yuval Sures and EMT Amiti Eliya Yitzhari. "When we arrived at the scene, we were led to an apartment where the woman was lying unconscious, pulseless, and breathless with trauma to her body. We provided medical treatment including halting hemorrhages and conducting resuscitation procedures, at the end of which we unfortunately had to pronounce her death."

Officers from the Zevulun police station launched an immediate investigation into the circumstances of the violent crime. According to police spokespersons, officers overpowered and arrested the suspect during searches inside the residence. Forensic investigators and a mobile crime lab unit deployed to the scene to collect evidence and clarify the sequence of events.

The forum noted that this murder brings the year's domestic violence death toll to alarming levels, underlining a persistent state of emergency within households. "The difficult report of yet another murder of a woman reminds us of the chilling statistics," the forum stated, calling for heightened awareness and community involvement to protect women facing threats and violent control.
