Moti Leitner, chairman of the HaTzibur HaHaredi Party, announced on Friday that he filed a police complaint against Motke Blau, a member of the Degel HaTorah faction, alleging incitement and threats against supporters of his party.

According to Leitner, the complaint was filed following the publication of names and addresses of party activists by Blau, alongside the label "rebel families." According to the HaTzibur HaHaredi Party, the publication took place on Thursday. Leitner claims that exposing the personal details of the activists endangers them and could lead to physical harm.

Threats and Intimidation

Leitner asserted that the publication is part of a broader campaign of harassment against his party's supporters. He stated that activists and supporters are facing threats concerning their livelihoods and their children's education.

"Our supporters were fired from their jobs. Parents of pure children received messages that their children will be thrown out of educational institutions, and letters of threats and curses are sent constantly," he said.

Leitner further accused figures within the Haredi party establishment of conducting a campaign of intimidation against his supporters, describing it as a criminal party mechanism waging an endless campaign of persecution and humiliation against hundreds of thousands of invisible Haredim.

Call to Police and Upcoming Elections

Leitner called on the Israel Police to investigate the complaint and take action against Blau, expecting law enforcement to hold him accountable for adopting mafia-like methods.

In conclusion, Leitner emphasized that despite the alleged pressures, his party's supporters will be able to express their views at the ballot box, stating that on Tuesday they will put an end to this violent group.

The claims against Blau and Degel HaTorah figures are brought by Leitner and his party and have not been independently verified. Blau's response was not provided.
