Senior female figures from opposition parties held a strategic meeting on Friday to coordinate their efforts ahead of the upcoming Knesset elections. The gathering included MK Meirav Ben Ari and Keren Terner Eyal representing the "Be-Yachad" joint list, Orit Farkash-Hacohen from the "Yashar!" party, Talia Lankri from "Yisrael Beytenu", and Naama Lazimi from "The Democrats".

According to the official statement released after the meeting, the discussions focused on continued cooperation regarding key issues on the agenda of the next government. These priorities include establishing a state commission of inquiry into the October 7 massacre, advancing equal burden-sharing and national service for all, combating the cost of living, and strengthening transportation, economy, education, welfare, health, and women's status in Israel, alongside fighting domestic violence. Furthermore, full cooperation was agreed upon for the upcoming month, particularly regarding election day operations.

The meeting, initiated once again by Meirav Ben Ari from the "Yesh Atid" party, also aimed to reach out to women who have become disillusioned or distanced from politics, offering them a reliable political address. The four candidates established a dedicated WhatsApp group for ongoing communication, during which experienced lawmakers shared insights on parliamentary work within various Knesset committees.

The gathering took place at the "Hatzar Shel Noni" café in Moshav Beit Nehemya, named in memory of Noa Marciano, an IDF spotter at the Nahal Oz outpost who was abducted on October 7 and murdered in Hamas captivity. Noa's family was also present at the event.
