National Security Minister Itamar Ben Gvir revealed in an interview with the Maariv podcast that Minister May Golan is extremely angry with him and has cut off ties after she asked to join his party but was not included on the electoral list.

"May is a friend, especially. It was not easy for me, it was very not easy for me with May," Ben Gvir shared candidly. "I hope the friendship will return," the minister added, describing the complexity of their relationship following the move.

Alongside the revelation about May Golan, Ben Gvir also addressed the joining of Knesset member Tali Gotliv to his party ranks, revealing an interesting anecdote involving Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. According to him, two years ago he already proposed a swap deal to Netanyahu: "I'll give you Almog (Cohen), bring me Tali."

According to Ben Gvir, Netanyahu refused the offer at the time and explained that Gotliv is worth many mandates and the public loves her. "I don't understand how he gave her up," Ben Gvir wondered in the interview, providing his own political assessment with a biting and compromise-seeking hint: "Because he perhaps wants to go with Eisenkot."
