Niv Eliasi Called Up to Israel Squad Following Daniel Peretz Injury
Niv Eliasi has been called up to Israel's squad after Daniel Peretz suffered a thigh tear. Asaf Tzur is expected to keep his place in goal against Ireland.

Following Daniel Peretz's injury, goalkeeper Niv Eliasi has been called up to the Israel national team squad. On Thursday night in the match against Kosovo, goalkeeper Asaf Tzur started in goal, after Omri Glazer was also unable to play due to a virus that caused weakness and fever.
The Southampton goalkeeper, who started the first two matches against Austria and Ireland, was not scheduled to start against Kosovo anyway, but by Thursday afternoon it became clear he is suffering from a tear in the upper thigh muscle. Therefore, he is leaving the national team camp in Hungary this morning and returning to England.
Niv Eliasi, the goalkeeper of Greek club Levadiakos who has previously been part of the national squad under Ran Ben Shimon, will be called up as the third goalkeeper.
Eliasi will join the national team in Serbia, where they will fly later today, ahead of the match against Ireland to be held in Backa Topola.
Tzur, Hapoel Tel Aviv's goalkeeper, has a strong chance to start against the Irish following his solid performance, as for the first time in this gathering, the Israel national team kept a clean sheet.
