Netanyahu Warns Iran Threat Persists Amid US Reports of Potential Military Action
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned that the threat from Iran remains unresolved as US reports indicate preparations for a potential intense military campaign following upcoming midterm elections.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu stated that the confrontation with Iran is far from over, warning that Tehran continues to seek Israel's destruction. Speaking after the elections, Netanyahu emphasized that Israel, alongside the United States under President Donald Trump, possesses the capability to permanently remove the Iranian threat.
Simultaneously, a report by The Wall Street Journal indicated that the United States has urged several Gulf Arab nations to prepare for a brief and intense military campaign following the upcoming midterm elections. Sources cited in the report noted that the U.S. military is reinforcing its regional missile defenses by deploying Patriot systems from Texas, relocating vulnerable forces, and replenishing ammunition stockpiles.
Ahead of these developments, Yashar! party leader Gadi Eisenkot called for Netanyahu's resignation, labeling him a transitional prime minister without a mandate. Eisenkot urged defense establishment chiefs to stand firm against any political exploitation of national security. Meanwhile, U.S. President Donald Trump has yet to make a final decision on launching strikes targeting Iranian nuclear and infrastructural sites, while regional diplomatic efforts continue alongside military preparations.
