How Much Coffee Does Nestlé Executive Philippe Navratil Drink Daily?
Nestlé executive Philippe Navratil revealed he drinks at least eight cups of coffee daily, finishing five before 10 AM. Despite the extreme caffeine intake, he sleeps well and enjoys the taste.

If you think you are addicted to coffee because you need a second cup by 11:00 AM, think again. Nestlé executive Philippe Navratil raises the bar to a level that would leave most people with a severe stomachache, consuming at least eight cups of coffee daily—with the vast majority finished before lunch even begins.
In an interview with Business Insider, Navratil revealed that he drinks at least eight cups every single day. He powers through the bulk of his daily quota early in the morning, noting that by 10:00 AM, he has already consumed five cups.
His morning routine kicks off at 6:30 AM. Navratil starts by drinking water to rehydrate his body before immediately heading to the coffee machine. His personal preference is clear: cold black coffee with no sugar, which he considers a healthy beverage. Recently, he has also started incorporating a small amount of decaf into his routine.
For the head of the global food giant behind brands like Nespresso, the high concentration of caffeine in the morning serves a clear business purpose. "I am better in the morning," he explained, noting that he aims to maximize his most productive hours before lunchtime.
Despite his extreme caffeine consumption, Navratil claims he suffers from no sleep issues or anxiety. He makes sure to get about eight hours of sleep every night and falls asleep easily, even when his final cup comes at an unconventional hour.
Navratil drinks his final cup of the day right after dinner, usually consisting of a short espresso, sometimes decaf. For him, the evening drink is not about staying awake: "It's more of a psychological thing for me," he concluded. "I genuinely enjoy coffee—I simply love the taste."
