Renowned chef Meir Adoni is set to open Samna, a new contemporary Mediterranean restaurant in Prague, on November 5. Located in the historic Ovocný trh square in the Old Town, the venue is a collaboration with the team behind the well-known local restaurant SaSaZu.
Samna will initially operate during evening hours from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM. While the full menu and pricing have not yet been released, diners can expect signature dishes associated with Adoni, such as hummus with shredded meat, Moroccan cigars, and traditional Kubaneh.
Alongside these favorites, the menu will feature fine dining creations crafted using Adoni's distinctive techniques. Highlights include scallop dishes served with eggplant cream, ponzu, yuzu aioli, cherry tomatoes, kafir lime, and Bloody Mary juice.
In an interview with Luxury Lifestyle Magazine, Adoni discussed the launch of Samna and revealed plans for another culinary venture in the Czech capital. Approximately six months after Samna's debut, he intends to open a simpler, more accessible fish restaurant inspired by North African and Mediterranean culinary traditions.
