A night flight from Prague to Tel Aviv was forced to turn back just half an hour after takeoff. Due to a suspected engine malfunction, the plane made an emergency landing while ground emergency teams were placed on high alert.

A monument commemorating Yishuv paratroopers was unveiled in Prague during a moving ceremony. The event was attended by senior Czech and Israeli officials, including the local Chief of Staff and the Police Commissioner.
