Iran Rebuilds Taleghan 2 Nuclear Site as Trump Weighs Options

Satellite images released on Thursday indicate that Iran is continuing to rebuild the Taleghan 2 nuclear site, which was bombed by the air force during Operation "Roaring Lion". The new satellite imagery follows a report published in July by CNN, which revealed that Iran was actively engaged in significant reconstruction of the facility.

Reconstruction at Parchin

According to the Institute for Science and International Security (ISIS), a leading Washington-based think tank monitoring Iran's nuclear program, significant activity has been observed around the construction site. Heavy equipment, including bulldozers and cement mixers, has been documented rebuilding the facility. The institute noted that repair work began as early as June, addressing craters caused by bunker-buster bombs. Construction of a protective concrete shelter on the right side of the site has reportedly been completed.

Trump Faces Major Decision

Simultaneously, U.S. reports indicate that President Donald Trump faces a "major decision" regarding the continuation of the conflict with Iran. Speaking to Axios ahead of a meeting with Gulf leaders, Trump remarked that he has a decision to make and that anything can happen. Regional neighbors have suffered repeated attacks by the regime in the context of the struggle for control over the Strait of Hormuz, leading to rising oil prices.
