An IDF soldier filmed himself taunting the father of a detained Palestinian teenager following violent clashes between settlers and Bedouin-Palestinians near Tayibe in the Binyamin region. The incident occurred after troops entered a home to search for weapons following localized skirmishes.
In the video, the soldier addresses the fleeing father, stating: Your son is here, broken from beatings, bro. Broken. Worth it for you to come. The IDF stated that the soldier acted on his own accord and that an internal investigation is currently underway.
In a separate incident in the West Bank, the Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that a 51-year-old Palestinian man from Yasuf was killed following confrontations. The military stated that troops opened fire during arrest procedures after stones were hurled at Israeli civilians and soldiers.
