During a screening of the controversial film "Naza" in the Netherlands, Sabine Taasa, an Israeli mother whose husband and son were murdered on October 7, confronted the audience and filmmakers. Taasa, a resident of Netiv HaAsara who survived the October 7 massacre, took the stage during the event near Delft and demanded accountability.

Confrontation at the European Screening

Taasa shouted at the filmmakers Yuval Avraham and Rachel Shor, asking how their documentary about IDF operations in Gaza portrays the events. "Look me in the eyes. Do you talk about collateral damage? My husband and son were murdered by Hamas," she declared from the stage before audience members shouted back dismissively.

"Look me in the eyes. Do you talk about collateral damage? My husband and son were murdered by Hamas. Where does this appear in your film?" asked Sabine Taasa.

Avihai Shorshan, director of the "Ad Kan" organization who accompanied Taasa, used a mobile projector to display footage of the atrocities on screen, leading to further tensions with attendees who disrupted the screening.

IDF Response and Criticism

Earlier on Thursday, the IDF Spokesperson's Unit issued a detailed statement addressing the claims made in "Naza." The military stated that the documentary presents a distorted and misleading depiction of the IDF target planning and operational processes.

The military noted that the creators failed to submit their claims for IDF review prior to publication and refused to provide a copy of the film upon request. Consequently, the IDF's assessment was based on detailed reviews from representatives who attended public screenings and official descriptions.
