Gal Kaspers finished the finale of the eighth season of MasterChef in third place, and immediately after the show ended, she opened a successful pop-up. It was a business selling sfenj, one of the dishes she prepared during the final stage of the competition. Today, she returns to the kitchen in the All-Stars season with the goal of completing the mission that did not succeed last time.

"I reached the finale and finished in a respectable third place; I saw it as an opportunity to enter the culinary world," she shares (tonight, after the news, Channel 12). "I set up a pop-up that I thought was amazing for the dish I prepared in the finale," says Kaspers. "At first it went well, it was tasty, and it was successful, but suddenly people stopped coming. It was truly one of the hardest things I've had to endure," she shares.

Kaspers, 40, had to take care of three small children while dealing with these difficult feelings. "I need to feed and raise my children, and with that terrible feeling of defeat, I decided that I was stopping my culinary journey," she says. "Now I am starting to dream the cooking dream again. I came to this season to remind myself, and you, how good I am. I must win."
