The fifth season of Fauda premiered on Netflix on September 8, 2026, and within just 24 hours, it generated extraordinary global viewing figures. An infographic posted on the series' official Instagram account revealed its staggering international reach, highlighting intense interest far beyond Israel's borders.

Over the years, Fauda has achieved widespread critical acclaim for its gripping portrayal of Israeli security operations and its unflinching exploration of the October 7 events from an Israeli perspective. However, the most striking revelation of the new season's launch is its reception across the Middle East and Europe.

While Fauda claimed the number one spot in Israel, it surprisingly matched that feat by also ranking first in Lebanon. The series secured the second position in Serbia, Slovakia, Greece, Romania, and Cyprus, while charting third in Poland, France, and Croatia.

The global footprint becomes even more fascinating when examining its performance across Arab and Muslim-majority nations. In the UAE and Jordan, Fauda climbed to sixth place, followed by eighth in Qatar and Bahrain, ninth in Egypt, and tenth in Morocco, Turkey, and Oman. In total, the series cracked the Netflix Top 10 in nine Arab or Muslim-majority countries within a single day.
