From Reality TV to Family Life: The Journey of Sophie and Dor
Sophie Daniel Benjamin and Dor Oz Cohen, who met on Married at First Sight, reflect on their journey from a brief separation to parenthood and plans for a real wedding.

What an incredible year it has been for Sophie Daniel Benjamin and Dor Oz Cohen. They started as complete strangers in front of the cameras on Married at First Sight, faced numerous challenges, and even endured a brief separation before finally becoming parents to the sweet Eitan Yitzhak. Now, only one thing remains: a real wedding.
In a recent interview, the couple reflected on the turbulent past year and their plans for the future. Having overcome their post-filming breakup and welcoming their son, the conversation naturally turned to the next big step. "I hope there will be a wedding soon, I already received a specific design for a ring, I know exactly what needs to be done," the happy father shared. He added, "This time we will let time do its thing, we will do it at our own pace, because we went from the end to the beginning."
After a year full of ups and downs, Daniel Benjamin summed up a journey that began with her as a single woman and ended as a mother: "It's a bit hard, but we can summarize it as the most powerful and full year. In the end, we won the best thing, which is love and family."
Reflecting on the unexpected turns of life, Dor admitted he never imagined celebrating the Jewish New Year this way, noting that life always surprises you. When asked about holiday hosting debates, Sophie revealed it was quite simple this time: they are spending Rosh Hashanah with Dor's family in the north, and the surrounding holiday days with her family. As Dor joked, they are still moving at the fast pace of a reality TV show.
