In honor of Rosh Hashanah: Recanati, Shaked, Tura, Carmel, and Jaffa wineries launch wines

The holiday season is upon us, and several wineries such as Recanati, Shaked, Hayotzer, and Tura launched their wine season for Rosh Hashanah this week. Due to the high cost of living, the wines are being marketed at prices that are not high compared to previous Tishrei holidays.

Recanati Winery is unveiling its Petite Sirah from the Jezreel Valley at a price of 119 NIS. Recanati Chardonnay from the Galilee vineyards, featuring a citrus fruit aroma, will be sold for 69 NIS. At the same time, Carmel Wineries are presenting Cabernet Sauvignon from the Selected series, a dry red wine produced from Cabernet grapes of the 2025 harvest. The wine was aged for 3–6 months in stainless steel tanks. Recommended retail price: 37.90 NIS.

Shaked company recommends a package containing a bottle of kosher Blue Nun Original white wine, along with a portable karaoke kit. Blue Nun is one of the most famous wine brands in the world, currently sold in more than 100 countries and also produced in a kosher version. The price of the package is 120 NIS.

Jaffa Winery is presenting three wines from the Judean Hills for the holiday in a price category of up to 100 NIS: Sauvage Carignan 2024, Homage Merlot 2023, and Heritage White 2023. The winery's wines are marketed and distributed by Enoteca, the import, marketing, and distribution arm of the George Hinnawi beverage group, and can be obtained at the WINE&MORE chain.

Hayotzer Winery is presenting Sketch Gewürztraminer — a semi-dry white wine at a price of 50 NIS (or three bottles for 120 NIS). The wine is light yellow in color with greenish touches, possessing an aroma of citrus blossoms. The Gewürztraminer vineyard was planted in 2016 in Ramat Sirin, east of Kfar Tavor in the Galilee.
