Kate Middleton Stuns in Elie Saab Gown with Hidden Animal Print at Windsor
Kate Middleton stunned at a Windsor Castle state banquet in a yellow Elie Saab gown featuring a subtle animal print, paired with Princess Diana's favorite tiara.

Kate Middleton stunned at a state banquet at Windsor Castle alongside Prince William, wearing a striking yellow evening gown by Lebanese designer Elie Saab. At first glance, the dress appeared to be a classic pastel creation, but a closer look revealed a surprising and delicate animal print woven into the fabric.
The Wild Side of Royal Fashion
Part of the designer's Spring-Summer 2025 collection titled "Allure of the Wild," the gown features a flowing cape, delicate pleats, and a subtle keyhole neckline. Fashion magazine Marie Claire suggested the subtle leopard motif might be a subtle nod to Oman, home to an endangered population of Arabian leopards.
Historic Royal Jewels
Complementing the bold dress, Middleton chose a deeply familiar royal heirloom: Queen Mary's Lover's Knot tiara, a piece closely associated with the late Princess Diana. She paired the diamond-and-pearl tiara with Queen Elizabeth II's Greville diamond earrings and Queen Mary's diamond bracelet.
Earlier in the day, welcoming Sultan Haitham bin Tariq of Oman alongside King Charles and Queen Camilla, Kate wore an emerald green Alexander McQueen coat paired with a historic 1863 diamond and gemstone brooch also worn by Diana.
