flydubai has suspended its flights to Israel until at least the end of November, effectively blocking Israeli passengers from purchasing connecting tickets through Dubai to global destinations. In its main evening broadcast, it was reported that Emirates, the parent company of flydubai, has decided to halt ticket sales on its website for Israeli travelers until official flight approvals for its subsidiary are sorted out.

This decision is a significant blow to Israeli tourists who have increasingly relied on Dubai for connecting flights to the Far East and Japan, especially after Turkey disappeared from their tourist map. Preliminary checks indicate that this restriction is already impacting travel planning well into spring 2027.

Travelers who planned distant trips will now have to recalculate their routes as eastern skies remain largely closed. While various efforts are underway to resume flydubai operations, negotiations have been completely frozen until after the upcoming elections with no progress reported.
