Former Hostage Eitan Mor Details Hamas Captivity Horrors in Arabic Video
Former hostage Eitan Mor spoke in fluent Arabic about the brutal horrors and sexual violence he witnessed during his 738 days in Hamas captivity.
Former hostage Eitan Mor joined public diplomacy efforts, appearing in a video filmed with Druze content creator Marwan Jaber. Speaking fluent Arabic, Mor detailed the horrors of his 738 days in captivity, stating that conditions were completely inhumane and that he was frequently beaten and given electric shocks.
Mor revealed that many hostages faced extreme abuse, debunking claims by foreign journalists that Hamas treated captives well. He stated that Hamas terrorists raped several female and male hostages, and that a female captive held with him was killed by Hamas.
Reflecting on his 738 days in tunnels, Mor noted that he was forced to learn Arabic because speaking Hebrew was strictly forbidden. He also recalled witnessing Hamas kill Muslims during the October 7 massacre, expressing shock at the violence.
Mor was held hostage after acting with composure on October 7 to prevent the desecration of murdered women's bodies. The first sign of life from him emerged following a hostage release deal, after returning captives confirmed they had been held alongside him.
