Eilat police officers arrested a driver in his 30s from Jerusalem who was caught driving with a three-month-old baby on his lap, feeding him with a bottle while steering with one hand.

During enforcement activity on HaYam Street in Eilat, a police officer spotted the unbuckled driver holding the infant on his knees, feeding him with his right hand while holding the steering wheel with his left.

The driver ignored police instructions to stop, continued driving, and even reversed dangerously, endangering both the baby and the officer. He was issued a court summons and a traffic ticket for reckless driving and failure to obey a police officer.

Police emphasized that this extremely dangerous behavior could have ended in a major disaster, noting that a single emergency brake could have proven fatal for an unrestrained infant seated near the steering wheel and airbag.
