The IDF published today, Wednesday, documentation of the activities of the Northern Brigade forces in the northern Gaza Strip, as well as the destruction of another underground route. Since the beginning of the ceasefire, the forces under the command of the 99th Division have neutralized more than 26 kilometers of underground tunnels east of the yellow line. It was further reported that during the last few weeks, the forces, in cooperation with Yahalom, destroyed an underground route about a kilometer long.

IDF forces under the Southern Command are deployed in the area in accordance with the ceasefire agreement and will continue to act to remove any immediate threat.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited the yellow line in the Gaza Strip and sent a firm message to the leadership of the terrorist organization Hamas:

"We control the territory. We are not retreating. We are staying on this line. We control 60% of the Strip, and there is more to come because we are eliminating the terrorists who threaten us, we do it day in and day out. Yesterday we took the head of Hamas's Shin Bet. We will surely learn a few things."

In his remarks, he addressed the Israeli control of the territory and clarified that the elimination of Hamas operatives will continue:

"But we are doing everything to reach our goal — dismantling Hamas's military capabilities and demilitarizing Gaza. Gaza will no longer pose a threat to Israel. This goal has actually been largely achieved, and there is more work to complete — and we will complete it."
