Culinary adventures across the country offer exciting new flavors, from budget-friendly bites to high-end chef pop-ups.

Tel Aviv's New Culinary Hotspots

Chef Guy Gamzu is launching an exciting gyoza promotion at his izakaya ASA, offering gyoza for just 3 shekels. Running Sunday through Thursday from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM, diners can choose fillings including chicken, vegetables, beef, or pork. Meanwhile, the Chinese restaurant Shanxi, led by Chef Raz Rivlin and partner Jenny Kohn, is heading to a pop-up at Middle Bar in Sarona Market from October 13 to 16. The menu features their signature hand-pulled Biang Biang noodles served with slow-cooked beef, soy, chili, and Chinese spices for 82 shekels, alongside crispy chicken and steamed buns.

Pop-Ups and Apéritivo Experiences

At Restaurant Trisar, Chef Aner Ben Rafael Forman is launching a new apéritivo running Sunday through Thursday from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM. For 88 shekels, guests receive a round of five open-fire vegetable skewers, alongside Israeli wines priced at 48 shekels a glass. Over in Kiryat Ono, JONZ Pizza Bar is celebrating its third anniversary with a trio of guest chef residencies. Chaim Cohen, Raz Rahav, and Erez Komrovsky will each take over the kitchen on select dates, presenting unique specialty menus featuring local ingredients and inventive dishes.

"We wanted to bring something fresh and vibrant to our guests, combining casual dining with top-tier culinary craftsmanship," noted the organizers of the anniversary event series.

Markets and Regional Tours

In Jaffa, Chef Yossi Shitrit's Bandit is joining the early evening happy hour trend, offering a 20 percent discount on all food, alcohol, and wine glasses from Monday through Thursday between 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM. New menu items include Gillardoo oysters and blue crab croquettes. Down south, a new Friday tour initiative in Beersheba invites visitors to explore the historic municipal market through archaeological, anthropological, and culinary lenses. Finally, Peki'in is hosting a special agricultural market at Ma'ayan Square to revitalize local tourism in Israel's north, featuring free workshops on traditional crafts, local olive oil, and honey production.
