New Cycling Park Inaugurated at Kibbutz Be'eri in Memory of October 7 Victims
A new cycling park dedicated to victims of October 7 will be inaugurated at Kibbutz Be'eri, symbolizing community recovery and the return of sport to the Western Negev.
A new cycling park will be inaugurated tomorrow, Tuesday, at Kibbutz Be'eri, built through a donation from Sylvan Adams and in cooperation with Israel Cycling Academy for the children of Be'eri and the Western Negev.
The park symbolizes the rebuilding of the kibbutz and the return of cycling to the local trails. It is dedicated to the memory of 11 cyclists and triathletes murdered by Hamas terrorists on the morning of October 7, 2023.
The project reflects personal stories of loss, survival, and hope, featuring figures such as local residents and survivors who champion the revival of community life through sport. At the center of the park is an international pump track built by the Swiss company Velosolutions, which is expected to host the Israeli Pump Track Championship.
