Duvdevan unit fighters arrested five terrorists early this morning, Friday, in the Kabatiya area who were planning to carry out a terror attack against Israeli citizens and security forces in a new settlement in northern Samaria. The operation was conducted under the command of the Menashe Brigade and directed by the Shin Bet.

The five suspects were involved in advancing terror plots. Fighters apprehended them less than ten minutes after entering the suspected locations. During searches of the terrorists' homes, forces located and confiscated an M16 rifle and additional weaponry hidden at the site. The suspects were transferred to security forces for further interrogation.

Additionally, over the past two days, IDF forces from the Samaria Brigade, directed by the Shin Bet, completed a 48-hour brigade-level operation in the area of Nablus and nearby villages. As part of the operation, forces scanned hundreds of locations, questioned dozens of suspects, and arrested more than 10 wanted individuals. Furthermore, the forces destroyed over 30 lathes used for manufacturing weapons and confiscated hidden weaponry, including rifles, pistols, and ammunition.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu commended the operation:

"I commend our forces for a successful operation in Samaria in which they destroyed dozens of lathes for manufacturing weapons, seized dozens of weapons, and arrested wanted individuals involved in terror. Our activity to thwart terror continues at full force in Judea and Samaria, in Gaza, in Lebanon, and everywhere our enemies try to threaten the State of Israel."
