Many products disappear from store shelves over time, leaving customers with a sense of nostalgia for their favorite brands. Now, following a massive campaign and hundreds of thousands of votes, one of the most requested ice cream flavors is returning to freezers permanently.

For two weeks, Ben & Jerry's management and fans in Israel awaited the results of the voting campaign. Out of dozens of discontinued flavors, five reached the finals. The winner was the legendary 'Chubby Hubby'.

This flavor offers a rich texture, combining creamy vanilla ice cream, peanut butter-covered pretzel chunks, and chocolate fudge. Its unique salty-sweet combination has made it one of the brand's most iconic offerings.

The story behind 'Chubby Hubby' began as an office prank, where two employees convinced a colleague that a flavor combining all his favorite foods existed. When the employee contacted Ben & Jerry's to find out where to buy it, the company was inspired to turn the joke into a real product. It will be sold in retail chains for approximately 24.50 NIS.

The flavor has previously returned only for short, limited-edition runs, such as in late 2016, but has not been on shelves since. This is set to change very soon as the product returns to regular distribution.
