Actress Anne Hathaway revealed that her advanced pregnancy forced her to skip an appearance on the spicy wing show Hot Ones while promoting her new psychological thriller Deception.
Anne Hathaway had to skip a guest appearance on the popular YouTube show Hot Ones due to her advanced pregnancy while promoting her new psychological thriller Deception. The 43-year-old actress, currently expecting her third child, explained that her doctor strongly advised against taking on the spicy wing challenge to avoid any risk of premature labor.
Promoting films like The Odyssey, The Devil Wears Prada 2, Mother Mary, and The End of Oak Street, Hathaway noted she will take a multi-month maternity leave starting October 3. Interestingly, her character in Deception—adapted from Colleen Hoover's bestselling novel—actually goes through the Hot Ones interview in the story, where Hathaway joked she used dummy wings for the fictional shoot.
Looking ahead, Hathaway is slated to star alongside Tom Cruise in Days of Thunder 2, with filming expected to kick off this coming March. Until then, the Hollywood star is preparing to step away from the public eye to focus on her growing family.
