Three IDF soldiers were seriously wounded by an explosive drone strike on the Ali al-Tahar ridge in southern Lebanon. The soldiers received initial field treatment and were evacuated by helicopter to Rambam Hospital in Haifa.

The incident occurred early Saturday morning, around 3:00 AM. Forces operating under the 36th Division in the Ali al-Tahar ridge area, tasked with surrounding terrorists trapped in Hezbollah tunnels, were targeted by a Hezbollah explosive drone.

The Prime Minister's Office issued a statement:

"Three IDF soldiers were seriously wounded in a Hezbollah attack in the security zone. The IDF responded by striking the Hezbollah headquarters that ordered the attack. Only afterwards did the IDF discover that Hezbollah had intentionally placed civilians in this military compound."

Following the attack, the Israeli Air Force struck and killed several commanders from Hezbollah's Radwan Force in the Nabatieh area. An IDF spokesperson stated: "The IDF struck a central headquarters of the Hezbollah terrorist organization in the Ansar area. The headquarters was used to command activity in the sector. During the strike, Ali Samir al-Hajj Hassan, a battalion commander in the 'Radwan Force,' was eliminated, along with other terrorists advancing plots against IDF forces."

The statement further emphasized: "At the time of the strike, Hassan's family was present with him in the military headquarters and was reportedly harmed. It must be emphasized that they were not the target. The strike was aimed precisely at Hassan, a legitimate target under international law. The terrorist used his family as human shields, hiding with them inside the military facility. The IDF will not allow Hezbollah to harm Israeli citizens or its forces and will continue to act to neutralize threats."

Throughout the night, the IDF conducted strikes on Hezbollah targets in the Nabatieh and Ali al-Tahar areas using fighter jets and heavy artillery.

According to reports in Lebanon, the US administration, in coordination with the Lebanese government, has given Israel the green light to secure the tunnels while terrorists remain trapped inside. Meanwhile, sources told the "Al-Jadeed" television channel that messages have been sent warning that any Israeli decision to attack Ali al-Tahar could escalate the confrontation, with Iran reportedly prepared to enter the line of escalation.
