Naor Zion has criticized Keren Marciano and other Channel 12 journalists for selective condemnation, arguing they ignored the harassment of right-wing activist Hadar Muchtar while being vocal about other incidents.

During the program "The Patriots" on Channel 14, Yinon Magal sharply criticized those who were shocked by the events of a dismissal on live broadcast. The speaker claimed that this is "gaslighting" and pointed to hypocrisy on the part of those same critics, who, according to him, acted in a similar way in the past.
